Gift Certificate Details
Thank you for considering giving the gift of flight!
Citizenship: For the Bronze or Platinum flight packages, non-US citizens will need to submit a flight training request to www.flightschoolcandidates.gov. US citizens will need to provide a valid US passport or US birth certificate at the first lesson. This does not apply to the Discovery or Super-Size Discovery flights.
Scheduling: Just have the recipient give us a call at 817-658-5988 to schedule their appointment. Our telephone number is on the gift certificate so they can schedule it at their convenience. We generally have appointments available 7 days a week from 9am to 7pm. Arriving at your scheduled appointment time will allow plenty of time to fill out the small amount of paperwork required.
Liability Waiver: Each participant will need to sign our liability waiver. While safety is our #1 priority, there are inherent risks involved with flying aircraft.
Expiration: The gift certificate is good for one year from the date of purchase. It is transferable but not refundable. If you give it to someone else, just have them mention the name of the person who originally purchased the certificate when they call to schedule their appointment.
Guests: The gift certificate holder may bring one guest on their Discovery Flight. The total weight limit for both people combined is 380 pounds. Also, the guest will need to sign a liability waiver, and must be 18 years of age or older.
Children: Due to insurance requirements, no one under 18 is permitted. There are numerous hazards at the airport so please don't bring those folks under 18 to the airport.
Apparel: We will spend about an hour outdoors, so dress according to the weather. The planes are heated but not air-conditioned. Shoes should be closed-toe, non-sandal shoes. Sunglasses are highly recommended.
Rescheduling: We are happy to reschedule if given at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations, no-shows, or reschedules within 24 hours of the appointment will result in forfeiture of the gift certificate.
Weather: With safety and the enjoyment of the guests in mind, inclement weather may result in postponement of the flight. We will call you if the weather looks unfavorable. Please call us before you depart for the airport if you feel unsure about the weather.
